Can You Have A Family AND Career?
Are family and career too hard to balance? You went to university, worked hard and got your degree. You are doing a job that you love in a career you chose. You’re a career woman…good earnings, meaningful, satisfying work, challenging goals. You also have a family. You married that man because you wanted to spend the rest of your life with him. But you never see him anymore. Then children came along, and you want to capture every memory of their childhoods. But your career requires a lot of your time, and career demands mean time away from the children and your husband. Finding a balance between family and career eludes you constantly…and the years tick past. It doesn’t seem like you can have both family and career. Both suffer and both pull at you relentlessly. You are not in control of your life. Your life is controlling you. Perhaps you are working outside the home in a job you dislike. This is not what you envisioned your life to be. You don't feel like you have a family and career. You feel like you have two full-time jobs. You see no career here, and see no way you’re ever going to like this work. But the family needs your income to survive. But that’s all you seem to be doing…surviving. There is never enough money and never enough time. And you feel like you’re watching your life pass you by while the kids grow up in expensive daycare. You feel like you’re working just to pay the daycare, with darned little to show for it. And you’re missing your children’s lives, and you and your husband are always exhausted. You are not in control of your life. Your life is controlling you. Perhaps you're a single mom, carrying ALL the weight of family and career. How are you ever going to get it all done? When will YOU get a break? They told you that women could have it all. What they didn’t tell you is that you can’t have it all at the same time. At least not in the traditional roles of family and career. How can you break this unending cycle? Work-from-home moms can build a home business that will provide time freedom. Let’s look at time freedom and see what it really means. The Declaration of Independence says all people are created equal. But the only thing that all people share equally is time. We all have 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. And time is the one thing that we cannot get back once it is spent. You can calculate your time freedom by this measuring stick: How many days, weeks, months or years can you live without another paycheck? But time freedom is even more than that. It’s not even self-employment. I know lots of self-employed people…so do you. They represent jobs from doctors to plumbers, and they work 70-80 hours weeks. They just don’t have a boss. And if they are not working, they are not earning. That makes family time, and vacations, and illness VERY expensive. They have NO time freedom. So self-employment alone is not the answer. But being work-at-home moms CAN BE the answer. Most business produces straight income. Sell a product or service and hopefully make a profit. But until you sell a product or service again, you’re unemployed. The world’s most successful people know that duplication is the way to wealth. Trading time for dollars is the definition of a career or a job. But it doesn’t duplicate your efforts. To gain time freedom, you must employ others so you get more done, and earn profits on the work of others. The best form of time freedom comes from a business that produces passive residual income (“Passive” simply means that you aren’t actively producing it yourself with your daily efforts). And, in order for that income to be truly residual, it must be in a recession-proof industry. Otherwise, your residual income can rise or fall depending on the economy. What kind of work produces passive residual income? Investments – interest income or dividends Insurance agents – sell once, then get paid on renewals Authors – write a book, get paid royalties as long as the book sells Songwriters – write a song, get paid royalties when the sheet music sells or when the song is performed Landlords – own property and rent it, get paid every month by the tenant Energy – get a customer once, get paid every month when they pay their energy bills
Most of those opportunities listed aren't readily available, even at work-from-home moms websites like www.WFHM.com. You see, time freedom is made when you create an income that continues to pay you…month after month…even if you are not working. That allows you to do the things you want to do instead of the doing the things you have to do. And if you choose a recession-proof industry, you don’t have to worry about economic crashes. Is there such a recession-proof industry? Does passive residual income actually exist? Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? I’ve already given you a hint. Now, follow this link below to learn more about time freedom and passive residual income. If this is true, you might be able to dig out some of those old dreams you had for your life, dust them off and set about making them finally come true.
